Each quarter, hourly community employees across the country are nominated for the Exceptional Service Award (ESA), and 25 national winners receive $500 as a special thank you for their hard work. This award is just one of the many ways we recognize our employees for their dedicated service.

Five years ago, Andrew volunteered to plan a themed movie night for residents at Atria Northgate Park in Ohio. To his surprise, residents fell in love with his creative ideas, and themed movie nights have been a weekly event at the community ever since.

Now, Andrew picks a movie every Thursday, and he and his mother work together to create a fun snack to go along with the film. For one of the movie nights, they made Hawaiian-themed Nutter Butter cookies for residents to enjoy while watching the Elvis classic, "Blue Hawaii." Congratulations, Andrew—we appreciate your creativity and dedication!

“Andrew is special to all of us. There is no doubting that anyone who can take the amount of time that he does every week and put something together for people is a really good person in my book.” –Marty, Atria Northgate Park resident
