Atria El Camino Gardens Performs Random Acts of Kindness
Posted on March 27, 2014 by Taylor Rhea
On Wednesday, March 19th the residents of Atria El Camino Gardens set out to perform random acts of kindness in the Carmichael area, with the help of the Atria Engage Life Team. The group shared stories with unsuspecting families, workers at local businesses, and people on the street.
Amongst the gifts were food items, including cookies, nuts, coffee and candy. Therapeutic pillows, kitchen utensils, decorative items, children’s hats and of course smiles and good will were also given. With each gift, residents included a note with a request to “pay it forward” and perform a random act of kindness for someone else.
It was a delightful trip for the residents that left them with warmth in their hearts, thoughts of thankfulness, and the question of when they will be doing it again. The next trip is now being planned!
