Best Move He Ever Made

When Ron S. lost his wife, Marg, the world just didn’t feel right anymore. “Something changes when your best friend leaves you,” says Ron. He decided it would be wise for him to have a fresh start. He agreed with his son to give Atria a go. Ron said he knew that he needed an extra push to meet new people and get out and try different things.
Ron quickly became involved in the excursions that Atria Covell Gardens residents take nearly every week. He recently went to San Francisco to see the Asian Art Museum and to Sacramento to see the State Indian Museum.
“I don’t feel stuck,” says Ron. He explains that he feels self-sufficient, having his own independent living apartment; his own space, while also having access to all of Atria’s resources.
“The ambience, the surroundings and everything are very appealing to me. They have so many different activities here. Anyone who’s bored, there’s something wrong.”
Ron S., a businessman, an Army veteran, a father and a vibrant man declares, “It was the best move I could have made.”
