A Message from Our Executive Director
Life at our community is tailored to the interests and desires of our residents. Here, seniors can live comfortably while taking advantage of opportunities they may not have had while staying at home alone. We take care of the cooking; we take care of the cleaning; we take care of the driving – that way, our residents can focus on doing what they love and choosing what they want to explore next. Welcome to a lifestyle that’s full of possibilities. Welcome home.
And we’ll respond accordingly. After all, it’s insights from people like you that help us continue to improve the Atria experience for our residents, their families, our staff and those connected to our communities.

I love her hair, her sense of humor. She knows how to be vulnerable. Caring. She must have been a wonderful mother. She's everyone's mom....

I love what I do, but I wouldn't love it as much as I do if it weren't for the exceptional people that I work for... the residents and their families. I am grateful for every little moment with each and every single person that walks through our doors, whether that person is a perspective resident or employee, or an already established resident or fellow employee. I am grateful for Atria, for The Landing of Brighton, for giving me the opportunity to love what I do, where I am doing it and for whom I am doing it for. I am grateful for being able to make a difference in the lives of others while simultaneously having everyone make a huge difference in mine. I humbly thank you. It truly is an honor.

When I think about what I am so grateful for when it comes to working for Atria Senior Living, specifically at The Landing of Brighton, my thoughts and feelings go to the people. The residents, their families and my coworkers are family to me. I care about each and every one of them, and I am beyond words grateful for them. It is truly an honor to be a part of all of their lives. It's the little things, the big things, and all of the in-between things, including the good things and the sad things, too...it's how we as a family come together and greet life together with a smile, a hug, a laugh, a cry or a dance or a simple, "Hello" or "Good morning" that makes being a part of this incredible community so special and so close to my heart.

The staff are receptive to taking action about engaging my Dad in activities he enjoys or finds important to him. Setting up a white board in the common area, and encouraging my Dad to write today's date on it every morning helps him keep better track of the days. I was also impressed that The Landing at Brighton purchased board games and puzzles my Dad especially likes to do. Kudos to Shannon, Maria, and each one of the other Life Guidance staff who always have a welcoming smile despite any anticipated or unexpected challenges the day may present. Thank you for being there for my Dad. Our family appreciates your service - and you!

We just moved our mom here 9/2014 to the memory care unit. The place is beautiful with lots of open spaces. The staff is so patient and caring. Everything is new, with nice comfortable couches, chairs, tables, a big TV in lounge area. Beautifully appointed dining areas, and the meals are amazing. The chef is very friendly and the special every night is different, along with regular items on the menu like chicken french and homemade pasta with fresh spinach. There are a lot of activities in the memory care unit each day, and the residents are encouraged to participate in each one. The staff is very attentive and genuinely seem to enjoy what they are doing here.
