Mr. Mike, it was a pleasant surprise to receive a bag full of goodies. The poster is on my bulletin board. I love my teddy bear and am sure my 2 ½ year old great-grandson Zane will have his eyes on it. And again, in this big bag was more surprises! There was a reusable cosmetic bag full of necessities, such as toothpaste toothbrush, shampoo, mouthwash, healing lotion and Puffs with lotion. Thank you for your thoughtfulness.

This place is like family. They really looked out for us all when my dad was in hospice. They showed kindness and compassion to us all. My mom loves the friends that she made there. She enjoys the beautiful sunny lobby and the cheerful staff in the beautiful dining hall. I love visiting her.

Michael, we want to thank you for the wonderful basket filled with treats we received when we moved in to Atria Park of Sierra Pointe. It was a good decision we made coming here. We have really enjoyed this new home.

My mom has lived at Sierra Pointe for over two years now. Tracy and Caren are great and always willing to help with any needs. The care givers there are excellent and very caring. My mom recently fell and broke her left hip, shoulder and pelvic bone. She was away in the hospital and rehab for a few weeks. When she returned, she was enthusiastically welcomed by all the care givers and management. I am so glad to have her back home where she is comfortable and I know they care about her. Some of the "Rock Star" care givers are Juana, Jude, Lupe, Maria, Dalia, Elvira, Chris and many more. There is a new care giver named Kourtney. When I asked if she liked working there, she said "I love my job"! That is the kind of care giver I want taking care of my mom! Kudos to all the care givers there as they all work hard and are all very attentive to the needs of the residents.

On my first visit to Atria Sierra Pointe I met with Gwen. I was impressed with her ability to help me make an important decision. I still like to thank her. I think the management team I have come to know puts forth extra effort to keep us healthy and content. I appreciate Tracy, Kara, Janet, Jessica and Barbara. I feel they help in making my life special. Maintenance and Housekeeping keep us comfortable. Joe and Olivia oversee these really well. My apartment is cleaned by Maria, and she is efficient, pleasant, and likable. I appreciate the patient and efficient servers and staff in the dining room. Melanie and Elizabeth start our day with smiles and at dinner we can appreciate Calvin, Emily and the other friendly hard working young people.I want to mention Laurinda who works to keep us safe on and off the bus. She helps with the many bags of groceries. There is not anyone for whom I would say anything but praise. If I have left off names, those persons also help make Atria Sierra Pointe a wonderful place to enjoy ones "golden years."

Assisted Living has the absolute best care giving team anyone could ever ask for. This team of people go above and beyond any expectation a family member could ever have. I thank them all for everything they do and am extremely grateful that my Dad lives where such special people truly care. Also want to mention what a great job Caren has done assembling this team of people and how she goes above and beyond to meet the needs of every resident.

I have only praise and appreciation for all the management staff! They are like family after my ten years as a resident. I point out Janet Pettycrew, the very best activity director we've ever had. There are no new programs to be started for our age group. Her plate is too full, but she handles it.I also think both Melani and Lindsay need recognition. They do the work of three people in the dining room. Lindsay has a degree in hospitality and worth of a higher position. Both are so kind to all.

I am beginning my 5th year as a resident. After viewing many senior communities, I chose Sierra Pointe as my home. This turned out to be a most fortunate decision. The facilities and the friendliness and support of the staff under the direction of Tracy Colburn have made living here a wonderful experience for me and for my family who visit frequently. It is very difficult to single out a particular staff member as they are all so helpful. However, I can express my appreciation to the front desk personnel, Suzanne, Juan and Liz as well as the dining room staff, Barbara and Cal

We would like to recognize the following employees who do a fantastic job:Janet and Jessica keep us busy with wonderful programs and activities. We're never bored. Laurinda Cumming is always available to give special help when she takes residents backs and forth to the doctors. She's such a warm and caring person.Suzanne who works the front desk does her magic to accommodate us with transportation schedules, maintenance requests and any problems and questions we have.Joanne answers the phone. She always helps me with whatever problem I have and figures it out.Olivia Solis takes care of extra housekeeping requests right away, like when there was a spill on my carpet.Calvin, in Culinary Services, greets us with a smile and makes sure residents are seated promptly. We have been residents here for over 7 years and know that the staff work very hard to make this a great place to live.
- Marcia and Herb Silber, Resident
Lindsay Clark and Melanie Shirk both are the most outstanding servers and friendly attitudes to everybody in the dining room. Calvin Boyd for maintaining a friendly attitude while seating people, helping the waiters in clearing and setting up tables, although it is not his position.Donna "Suzan" Mayhorn and Juan Oliva always friendly and helpful at the entrance desk.Joe Fiorentino for excellent maintenance and Olivia Solis to see that proper housecleaning can always be depended upon for house cleaning maintenance.
- Gerald Matlick, Resident
Elizabeth Young at the front desk is extremely competent, caring, considerate, and she is devoted to the residents. She is compassionate for their respective situations. We are blessed to have her in our lives.

Dear Tracy, Both Dot and I feel that the entire staff here at Atria is well trained, professional and do a very good job. I believe that what I am writing this letter about could be applicable to a vast number, if not the entire staff. But because I have had so many occasions in which the following person has helped me directly, I wish at this time that the letter be regarding this certain one. I am speaking of Suzan Mayhorn. Suzan always does such a fine job handling the so many inquiries that "pop" up at the front desk. It is just amazing that she is able to keep her insanity so to speak - and she does this always with a friendly and professional manner. In my case due to my responsibilities with the History Club she has been most helpful and it is always it seems no matter how busy she is at the time. I must add also that she has always done her best in meeting what transportation requirements we might have. I am certain you are aware of the fine job Suzan does at the front desk but I thought you would like to know how pleased we are of her fine work at that very important post. Sincerely, Ken Root

Dear Tracy, As a former employer, I am accutely aware of extra unusual activity of workers, and would like to call attention to one in particular at this time. Perhaps it is because my apartment is located near this person's office, and I witness extra effort on this person Janet pettycrew. She seems to go above and beyond every projectshe deals with.I know that from your location on the first floor, you cannot be aware of such volunteer effort such as; 1. Creating very special gifts and projects for the bistro.2. Extra effort to find supplies. 3. Working diligently even with numerous interuptions. 4. Doing work on projects at her home. 5. Always very courteous, as most other employees are.6. Makes no excuses.I very rarely write a letter like this but felt that you should be aware of such a positive person.Respectfully,Len Niemiec
