A Message from Our Executive Director Caitlin Marsanskis
Learning about our residents' life experiences is the best part of any day. The most inspiring thing they've taught me is that while it's important to love and laugh, we must also seek to lift each other up. The team here does that through thoughtful gestures of compassion. These small acts of kindness help build relationships and you'll find we look after one another like family. Come by for a visit and experience our warm, welcoming community for yourself.
And we’ll respond accordingly. After all, it’s insights from people like you that help us continue to improve the Atria experience for our residents, their families, our staff and those connected to our communities.

From the first time that I walked in, I loved it. I find it that it’s the perfect place for my mother. I found out that she is a lot calmer now being there and everybody seems to love her. It’s been a good experience. The facility is beautiful, it’s clean, well kept, there is no odor, and it’s relatively a brand new facility (about a year old). The staff team is also very attentive toward my mother and they are interested in the details regarding her and her health. She gets along with the people there. Overall, it’s clean, nice and friendly. I recommend.

I have eaten at this community and I think the food is good. They do have smaller portions - however, the dining room is open all day. The staff are wonderful and attentive. They keep the community well taken care of. They offer daily activities. They have larger rooms with high ceilings and I would recommend this community.

Atria Scarborough is a lovely and spacious place. They are very caring and attentive to the individuals. My brother and I both take care of my mother, so sometimes that makes it tricky with the communication part of it, but the staff has been really good at trying to let us know how my mother is doing. I didn't try the food, but I saw it. It looked good. There are fresh salads. I'm impressed that they can get salads. They try to cater to my mom because she can't see her food, so it is hard for her to use a fork, but they got her some things to eat that she can maneuver easier. The location of the place is good. It is just off the main road. My mother's room is in very good repair and very spacious. It is set up to meet her needs. They have music, cooking and some things like that. They try to involve the residents.

Tony and Staff made sure that our family had a wonderful Christmas at Atria. A beautiful ham buffet was enjoyed by all and then presents opened under the Christmas Tree made us feel like we were home. Thank you.
