Words can not express my gratitude to the entire staff at the Atria Delmar. My mother in law, Edna Lindner, has been a resident since February of 2016. Having her in a safe environment with so many caring people has provided my husband, my sister in law and myself with such peace of mind it is incredible. I visit her often and sometimes it's hard to find her, because she's always participating in one of the wonderful activities Erica has planned. Most recently she had a fall. I was called immediately and met her at the hospital. Once we returned to the Atria both Alicia Tambasco & Adriana Colonno worked with me in helping to make sure my mother in laws needs were met. They both are well versed in what help is available and offering what ever assistance they can to secure that help.It is important to me to mention that I have had such a wonderful experience with all the staff the maintenance , housekeeping, aides, receptionist ,& management I wish I could name them all. There is a special place in Heaven for such sincere and caring people. With Warm RegardsSandi Lindner

Dear Atria, I cannot thank you enough for all of the love and care you have and continue to extend to my mother, Lois Ricek who has now lived at Atria Delmar Place since she moved in from Boca Raton, Florida in January 2016. Everyone there has given her a new lease on life and she has returned to being her social self. People always ask me what Atria Delmar Place is like and I always say it is a cross from being on a cruise ship or an adult sleep away camp. The facilities are spotless and filled with flowers, and the activities abundant and diverse. My mother Lois loves all of the field trips, especially the boat rides on Lake George, the picnics, and certainly the holiday parties and all of the decor. Atria Delmar Place has incredible food served on linen with lovely menus. It is like dining in a lovely restaurant for every meal. The food is fresh and diverse with a wonderful chef at the helm, where each plate is filled with love. The apartments are spacious with amazing closet space and the team keeps them spotless. My mother loves having her laundry done and her only care being to take care of herself and have a good time. Mom is 90 and we all love that Atria is on top of her needs whatever and whenever they are. You truly saved her life and gave her life back to her. She loves the classes people and most of she has rediscovered her love and joy of life.

I have been a resident a year and a half, and I enjoy it more than being at home. I had lived in the family home for 68 years and because of declining health it had become a burden to me. I had all the usual responsibilities of running the home like mowing, shoveling, taking care of hedges etc. Atria Delmar Place frees me from those responsibilities and gives me piece of mind to know there are responsible people here who care about my welfare. My medicine is delivered to me 3 times a day without prompting. My meals are better than at home but I was a very good cook. I also surrendered my drivers license voluntary so I don\'t have to worry about causing harm. My spiritual needs are met by services and personal prayer and the social life is excellent with a variety of activities and a happy hour on Friday afternoons! We have many opportunities to get off of the property and into the community. For example in the last month we had a shopping trip to Saratoga Springs, a sight seeing trip to Columbia County, we\'ve picnicked at Thatcher Park and a sight seeing trip to Hunter Mountain, Windham, Ashland and Jewett. We had a fabulous ride to western Mass. to Mount Greylock where we saw ten 320ft tall wind turbines. As a retired teacher I particularly appreciate the young wait staff in the cafeteria. One meal last month there were a total of six servers and the eldest was 19 years old. The service was impeccable! We have ample opportunity to get out and go shopping both at local malls, the dollar store and 3 supermarkets. In summary all in all I couldn\'t be more content and highly recommend this way of life.
