What if where you lived determined how well you lived?
Wouldn’t it be great to be able to have dinner, go to events and get to appointments on your own schedule and terms, without having to wait for your family to help? A less complicated life at Atria can mean more choices, more freedom and more independence.
You'll enjoy well-rounded opportunities, right outside your door, every day.
Through our signature Engage Life® program, we take time to learn what you already like to do and what you’d like to try next. Then, we create a robust calendar of more than 200 opportunities for learning, creativity, exercise and spirituality every month. From cultural discussions to fitness classes and art workshops, you can remain as active and involved as you like. Events are based on eight key dimensions of engagement that contribute to a fulfilling life.

You'll dine very well and in good company.
Eating alone is not eating well. Sharing delicious meals with friends and family is a deeply meaningful part of life, and feeling that cooking has become more of a burden than a joy shouldn’t get in the way of that. At Atria, you’ll gather with neighbors, order off the menu and enjoy table service. You’ll choose from plenty of fresh selections made from scratch by experienced chefs who cater to your personal tastes, and special dietary needs can be accommodated.
You'll enjoy the company of neighbors when you want it (and privacy when you don't).
People need people. Studies show that older adults who live in a community setting enjoy greater well-being than those who live alone – and that physical and social engagement can actually reverse the effects of aging. At home, you may have limited opportunities to socialize with friends or stay involved with your interests. At Atria, such opportunities are right outside your door, every day. And with no chores to worry about, you can focus your energy on being an active, contributing member of your community.
Whether or not you still drive your own car, you may rely on others’ availability after dark, in bad weather or after doctor’s visits. Cooking, cleaning, maintenance and laundry are likely taking more of your time and energy. At Atria, a friendly and attentive staff takes care of transportation, housekeeping, maintenance – and even snow and ice removal.
You'll receive support when you need it, so you're more independent all the time.
It’s important to understand that Atria is not a nursing home. We are a residential community where well-trained staff provide just the right amount of support if it’s needed. We are home to active older people who benefit from help with medication reminders, bathing and getting dressed, getting from place to place and other care services. Your need for privacy and discretion is always respected.
