A Message from Our Executive Director Bethany Munn
I feel privileged to lead a team that's devoted to creating an environment where older adults can continue to contribute their wisdom and live a fulfilling life. For example, when a blizzard struck the region, four directors decided to stay overnight to ensure our residents were safe and comfortable. That selflessness speaks volumes of who we are as a community. Stop by today and experience the warmth of Atria Guilderland for yourself. We look forward to welcoming you.
And we’ll respond accordingly. After all, it’s insights from people like you that help us continue to improve the Atria experience for our residents, their families, our staff and those connected to our communities.

I am so glad we found Atria - Guilderland. My mother who has Alzheimer's was only to stay a few weeks while my husband and I were on vacation. She is a widow living alone in the country and had home care aids visiting daily. Before moving to Atria, the meals her home care aids prepared were ok, but my mother would forget to eat after they left. She refused to shower often and wore the same clothing day after day. She would get depressed often being alone. What a difference in her today now that she is residing in Atria! She looks wonderful and smiles all the time. Atria is just like living in at a vacation resort. My mother loves all the meal choices presented menu style in the open dining room. She loves engaging in many of the various activities and entertainment Atria offers daily. With little assistance from the wonderful Atria staff, she showers regularly and keeps her appearance up. She seems to like having the ability to visit with others when she wants and still have her privacy in her room. She is using her walker and moving about more than I think she has in a really long time. Even with Alzheimer's, she now seems to be living again, enjoying life. I must say the facilities are beautiful and well-maintained. The staff at every level seems to take the time and get to know their residents. I can't say enough on how the staff at Atria has given life back to my mom!
