People are living longer. We help them live better.
Life is getting busier, which can make it more challenging to care for our aging parents. You spend your time helping them, but what if you could spend your time together, just being a family?
Consider that the most caring thing you can do is let someone else be the caregiver.
It’s important to understand that Atria is not a nursing home. We are a residential apartment community where well-trained staff provide just the right amount of support if it’s needed. We are home to active older people who may need some help with medication reminders, bathing and getting dressed, and getting from place to place. And their need for privacy and discretion is always respected.
Enjoy well-rounded opportunities, right outside the door, every day.
Keeping both mind and body active is key to well-being. Through our signature Engage Life® events program, we offer more than 200 social opportunities each month, based on the interests and passions of our residents. From cultural discussions and fitness groups to art workshops and live performances, our residents can remain as active and involved as they like.
Eating alone is not eating well. Enjoying delicious meals with friends and family has always been a deeply meaningful part of life, and the feeling that cooking may have become more of a burden than a joy shouldn’t get in the way of that. Atria residents gather with neighbors, order off the menu and enjoy table service. They choose from plenty of fresh selections made from scratch by experienced chefs who cater to their personal tastes (and don’t worry – many special dietary needs are easily accommodated).

Community Living Versus Staying at Home
Our residents do what they want to do – we do all the rest.
No longer burdened by daily chores, our residents are free to explore each day’s opportunities. Our friendly and professional staff handles everything else – transportation, housekeeping, 24-hour security, grounds and building maintenance, and even snow and ice removal. Of course, the best service we offer may be the peace of mind you’ll have knowing immediate help is available from staff on-site 24/7 – no more anxiety about if and when assistance will be available in case of an emergency.
People are living better in our communities than they did when they lived alone.
People need people. Studies show that older adults who live in a community setting enjoy greater well-being than those who live alone. At home, your parent may have limited opportunities to socialize with friends or stay involved with their interests. At Atria, such opportunities are right outside their door, every day. And with discreet support always at hand, they can retain their independence longer and focus their energy on being an active, contributing member of their community.
