Yes, Atria Hertlin Place has a private dining room that can be reserved for special occasions.  

While we do our best to accommodate individual needs and preferences, please discuss any specific dietary requirements with community staff to determine if those needs can be met.

Atria Hertlin Place offers independent senior living. Residents who need additional support have the option of hiring third-party care providers of their choice. This allows residents to get the support they need – without paying for services they don’t.

Independent living at Atria Hertlin Place offers seniors the freedom to engage in what brings them purpose and joy – without having to worry about daily tasks like cooking, cleaning and home maintenance. From art workshops to yoga classes, residents enjoy daily opportunities to stay active, social and connected.

Atria Hertlin Place does not provide assisted living services. However, Atria Senior Living has multiple communities in Suffolk County that provide assisted or supportive living, including:

While Atria Hertlin Place is an independent living community, residents in need of additional support have the option of hiring third-party care providers. This allows residents to get the support they need, without paying for services they don’t.

At Atria Hertlin Place, safety is our first priority. We have extensive protocols in place to address health and safety risks, from preventing flu outbreaks to keeping residents safe during floods, fires and severe storms. In the event of an emergency, Atria sends regular updates to family members to provide peace of mind that everyone is safe and being cared for.

Atria Hertlin Place also prioritizes safety by focusing on fall prevention. We offer regular balance exercise classes, and our community is designed to accommodate those with mobility issues. Residents also have the option to receive an emergency alert device that quickly connects them to staff in the event of a fall or other emergency. A small monthly fee for this device may apply; please contact us for details.

Unlike some retirement communities, Atria Hertlin Place does not require a sizable buy-in fee. Please speak with our staff for specific details about any community fees, second-person fees or deposits required at the time of move-in.
