Supportive Living
Frequently Asked Questions
Supportive living residents have access to all the same opportunities for connection and adventure as those of independent living, with the added support of a care team. Supportive living may be the right fit for someone needing assistance at meals or with activities such as toileting and personal grooming.
Regardless of care level, all residents have access to senior care with physical therapy through our third-party providers or the caregiver of their choice.
Supportive living at Atria Forest Hills includes personal care and support in a social setting, as well as help with activities of daily living – such as bathing, grooming, incontinence and medication assistance. Because all residents receive a care assessment upon move-in and periodically thereafter, care is always customized to the specific needs of each individual. These assessments help us ensure residents receive appropriate care and are among the factors we consider in determining and monitoring staff levels.
Regardless of the care you receive, Atria Forest Hills’s rental rates include housekeeping and linen services, utilities, 24-hour staff, scheduled transportation, a full calendar of events, daily dining experiences and apartment maintenance.
Contact the community to discuss independent and supportive senior living costs and for more information about our preferred care service providers.
The focus of independent living is providing conveniences for older adults who lead an active lifestyle and have very little to no need for support services. Supportive living offers care and support services for older adults who need a helping hand with daily activities – such as bathing, grooming, incontinence, medication assistance and transportation – but do not require more specialized medical or nursing care.
All residents at Atria Forest Hills receive a care assessment to ensure their individual care needs will be met. This assessment helps us ensure residents receive appropriate care and is among the factors we consider in determining and monitoring staff levels.
Life is better with Atria. The nursing staff is excellent. The dining room is good. I love the activities and the people that do the activities. The amenities are beautiful. We have physical therapy, and pet therapy comes in weekly. The music programs are beautiful. Great planned activities. I’m learning a lot from living here. I’m very grateful and satisfied.
