Yes, Atria Forest Hills offers supportive living services. Supportive living involves assistance with daily tasks, such as getting dressed and walking to and from meals, as well as medication assistance. Supportive living residents can take advantage of the rich amenities and social opportunities of our community, with the peace of mind that help is available when needed.

Licensed to offer personal care services, Atria Forest Hills offers supportive living amenities and services that are similar to those of assisted living communities, including:

• Similar apartment layouts

• Chef-prepared meals
• Housekeeping service
• Scheduled transportation
• Assistance with activities of daily living
• Medication assistance

However, due to state law, we do not offer skilled care services. If such care is required, a third-party provider can be hired to perform these services in our community.

• Medication assistance
• Supervision of self-administered medications
• Assistance getting out of a bed or chair

At Atria Forest Hills, each supportive living resident is assessed individually so that we may provide personalized levels of care. For this reason, supportive living care costs are not included in rent. Please contact us to discuss your specific needs and to learn more about our pricing structure. Care assessments help us see that residents receive the level of support needed and are among the factors we consider in determining and monitoring staff levels.

Atria Forest Hills does not provide memory care services. However, we have a sister community that offers memory care just down the road in Kew Gardens. Atria Forest Hills offers both independent living and supportive living services. As residents’ needs evolve, additional support can be introduced – from medication assistance to bathing assistance. Residents can receive this additional care without the disruption of relocating, which helps provide comfort, stability and reassurance for residents and their families.

At Atria Forest Hills, safety is our first priority. We have extensive protocols in place to address health and safety risks, from preventing flu outbreaks to keeping residents safe during floods, fires and severe storms. In the event of an emergency, Atria sends regular updates to family members to provide peace of mind that everyone is safe and being cared for.

Atria Forest Hills also prioritizes safety by focusing on fall prevention. We offer regular balance exercise classes, and our community is designed to accommodate those with mobility issues. Residents also have the option to receive an emergency alert device that quickly connects them to staff in the event of a fall or other emergency.
