Located across from Connecticut's beautiful Lake Whitney is an assisted living community designed to enhance your well-being. At Atria Larson Place, you'll enjoy greater independence and social connection, chef-prepared meals and the discreet support of a 24-hour staff.
Here, we take care of the cooking, cleaning and home maintenance, which means every day you'll have more time to do something you love or learn something new. Whether you're looking for fun, fitness, creativity or connection, we host more than 200 engaging events each month.
Catch up with friends over breakfast. Take in an afternoon poetry or meditation class. If you're in the mood to explore, attend an outing to the Marsh Botanical Garden and grab a bite at Louis' Lunch. Or simply relax in your apartment before joining neighbors for happy hour and a movie. At Atria, the choice is always yours.

A Message from Our Executive Director Lisa Mierek
Visitors often tell me how welcome they feel when they walk through our doors. And I say it's because residents and staff alike are engaged and happy. Our community is like one big family. We see each other every day, we laugh together and share experiences that bring us closer. I'm grateful that I work with such an extraordinary group of people, and I'd love the opportunity to introduce your family to ours.
And we’ll respond accordingly. After all, it’s insights from people like you that help us continue to improve the Atria experience for our residents, their families, our staff and those connected to our communities.
Thank you for sharing. Don’t forget to rate us by clicking the stars below!

Our Mom lives here and has for quite some time now. I would like to recognize the staff...Jill is amazing, always at the ready to help and answer and address, very swiftly, any medical issues our Mom may have. Stephanie in nursing is wonderful, always smiling and ready to help. Ron is great and responds very quickly to any issues at all. Tom in mechanical has the patience of a saint, as does John. Overall, we are very happy with the care and attention our Mom gets!!!

My husband, Johannes (John) Heskes has been a resident in Life Guidance since February 2015. During these difficult months, I have found Christine to be knowledgeable, supportive and compassionate. She is truly there for the residents and their families. She runs an efficient unit staffed by a caring, capable team.
