From the moment I drove in the parking lot I knew this place was different. Not only was there a sign on the front desk with my name, but Betty stood and welcomed me immediately. Even though I was fifteen minutes early, so was Richard. I was not only impressed with the completeness of the much needed information but the interactions with residents and staff on a first name basis. I thank God for meeting all the wonderful people at Atria Tucker. Especially all the employees and my neighbors. They all mean so much to me-- they are my extended family. Everyone is so kind and respectful. They\'re always there when I need them to keep my room nice and clean. I love the food too! All the caregivers are very nice to me. I am here in this country by myself and all of my family members are back home, so the staff and other residents are my family. I pray for all of them expecially all of the caregivers. I\'m one of the youngest residents here so a lot of the older residents are like grandparents to me now. I am from Hondorus, and my english is not very good, but some of the staff members are bilingual and they are a big help to me. Maribel Marte has especially been very helpful to me. I am thankful to God and very happy to have her around. She is ver respectful and helpful to me always.

As the oldest of 5 children, I was both honored and lucky to be able to move my Mom from Pittsburgh to Tucker after my Dad suddenly passed away. You see, my parents were married for almost 60 years and lived independently in their home in Pittsburgh. I brought my Mom here based on her insistence that she live in an apartment with a supportive, kind and energetic staff. I interviewed 6 different facilities. The gem was Atria Park of Tucker! Small enough to form lasting friends with the staff and large enough to tap into any resource that she or I may need for total comfort and care. I love this “homey atmosphere” for my Mom and so did she. Every single employee in this environment goes out of their way to help a all residents feel appreciated and respected. I believe that comes from the top. The director has to infuse the staff or the staff cannot infuse the residents. Atria Park of Tucker accomplishes that in spades! All the CNA’S, housekeepers, maintenance, kitchen and the front desk staff are simply the best! Bingo is the best! And Cowboy Roy and his band are super. Atria Park of Tucker brings the personality to the table. And I do enjoy their food - there’s a lot of choices :) I highly recommend this gem!
