A Message from Our Executive Director
Life at our community is tailored to the interests and desires of our residents. Here, seniors can live comfortably while taking advantage of opportunities they may not have had while staying at home alone. We take care of the cooking; we take care of the cleaning; we take care of the driving – that way, our residents can focus on doing what they love and choosing what they want to explore next. Welcome to a lifestyle that's full of possibilities. Welcome home.
And we’ll respond accordingly. After all, it’s insights from people like you that help us continue to improve the Atria experience for our residents, their families, our staff and those connected to our communities.

On behalf of our family I would like to extend a big “thank you” to Executive Director Derrick Carson and the staff at the Atria. My mom and dad moved into the Atria almost five years ago and they consistently experienced warm and compassionate staff members at all levels. It did not matter if it was the person who cleaned their room, the maintenance staff, the person who looked in on them each day, the wait staff in the dining room, the nurse on duty, the activities director or the executive staff,… each person demonstrated a kind and compassionate attitude. My mother and father loved meeting and getting to know each and every one of them. The care did not stop with my parents: Whenever there was a significant life event, the care and kindness was extended to the rest of our family, as well. During the last days prior to my mom’s passing, your staff took the time to care for us, as we cared for my mom. Everything from bringing us food to speaking an encouraging word.

Wishing you all a very special Christmas, of love and joy. I wanted to thank you for all that you have done, especially for my mom Marie, starting with all of your efforts in bringing her to Atria on such a short notice. Derrick, Rose, Michael, you all worked so hard to open that door for her, and Janelle and Jenny also – thank you all for your kindness. Dale and Carlos, thank you both plus the kitchen staff for late hours moving Marie in – you all went out of your way for us, and we appreciate that so very much. Mom’s care in Life Guidance neighborhood is such a blessing to her and to us – the thoughtful times the staff spends with each resident greatly reflects your commitment to their love, care and dignity and is a reflection of your individual care and compassion for these dear residents. God’s blessings to you all.

No matter where I go or who I talk to, when I mention I live at Atria, the comments are always the same. They tell what a great place Atria is and they have never heard of anyone being disappointed! The management from top to bottom is always caring, supportive, and happy. They always will make time for residents whether it be to help with a situation or just answer a question. If they can't help or answer the question, they will find someone who can! When I walk down the hall, I notice how happy the residents are. There is such a variety of activities, everyone's interests are or can be accommodated. Yes, I am a very happy and satisfied resident.
