A Message from Our Executive Director Hindel Jesselson
Life at our community is tailored to the interests and desires of our residents. Here, seniors can live comfortably while taking advantage of opportunities they may not have had while staying at home alone. We take care of the cooking; we take care of the cleaning; we take care of the driving - that way, our residents can focus on doing what they love and choosing what they want to explore next. Welcome to a lifestyle that's full of possibilities. Welcome home.
And we’ll respond accordingly. After all, it’s insights from people like you that help us continue to improve the Atria experience for our residents, their families, our staff and those connected to our communities.

My sister and I came to have dinner with our Mom to celebrate her 89th birthday. We were warmly welcomed and escorted to a private table. The meal was delicious and plentiful and was as good as the meal I had the night before in a fancy kosher restaurant in midtown. During the meal so many friendly staff members came by to welcome us.We plan to come again very soon to have dinner with Mom! Sharon Butler and Davida Stadtmauer- Margie Block's daughters.

I would like to "spread the word" about a hard-working, day-making, smile-creating Atria employee here at the Atria Kew Gardens! She is a server in the dining room and her name is Kamicita Megnauth. I am writing this review about Kamicita to show my gratefulness for how wonderful she is as a server to me and to everyone else that she takes care of in the dining room! She takes such pride in what she does, doing it so efficiently but with so much kindness and real caring for me and others. I have seen Kamicita time and time again take such personal interest in many people's needs that she is serving all to make sure that we eat well and can do it pleasant setting and atmosphere. I would like it, so very much, if you make sure that Kamicita is recognized by Atria in a way that she gets to know what a beautiful and fantastic job that she does for Atria and for us, the residents, and how very much appreciated she is! And that Atria acknowledges that there is someone who represents the Atria in the very same way that the Atria would like for all residents, new comers, and people who are checking out the Atria as their possible new and permanent home. Kamicita sets that example and shares her love for her job but more importantly for all of us. I am so very grateful to Kamicita and for Kamicita! Please let this be made known to Atria Kew Gardens and please, especially recognize Kamicita Megnauth!
