There are several at Atria-Copeland that outshine the others. But the lady who works for Atria-Copeland whom I have found that shows the most concern for my Mother, Virginia Tate, is Helen Mayfield. She is always pleasant and very concerned about my Mother. She comes to her room to check on her all the time and makes sure that she gets to the dining room on time. Ms. Mayfield is extremely courteous and friendly. Mother just lights up when Ms. Mayfield enters her room. Thank you Ms. Mayfield for being my Mother's best caretaker; but most of all, thank you for being her friend.

In October 25th I will have completed my second year at Atria Copeland. I love it here and have never had a second thought of moving. Every employee working here is special, hard working, and lovable. I can't name them all but those that mean the most to me are: Aeriel Holte, so wonderul, Helen Mayfield, a dear, dear lady, Felton Baxter, Mr. Fix Everything, Tammy Whitaker, my daily hug, Dona Stone, our friendly receptionist, and, of course, Janie Jolly, our director.

I woul like to say thank you to Mrs. Padgett for being one of my best friendsat Atria Copeland. She has always been helpful, caring, and shows concerns for my well being. She has even let me share my problems and bend her ear every now and again and offers heartfelt wisdom from her own full life and expereinces. Her joy of still being very active everyday and also her family showing love and care to her has inspired me to be most active and live a full life too. I would to acknowledge two peopleas my favorite employees at Atria. First, I would to thank Shameika, the med tech, she is always happy and up lifting when she comes around doing meds or even just seeing her around the building We are always kidding each other about stuff. Second, I woud like to acknowledge Aeriel our entertainment director. Since her arrival she has improved and increased all activities at Atria each week and also all our trips on the bus are better and more exciting. She keeps everyone well informed of what is happening on each day and lets people voice their opions about possible new trips or adventures. She always sends out flyers to people about what is happening or upcoming events. All people are treated with the utmost respect and care no matter what their physical limitation are at Atria Copeland. If you're willing, Aeriel goes out of her way to make sure you enjoy all activities that are at Atria Copeland assisted. It is joie de vive (French meaning "seize the day) here at Atria Copeland.
