A Message from Our Executive Director Alan Lappas
Atria Draper Place is home to many wise and accomplished older adults, and it's a privilege to spend time with them and make sure they have daily opportunities for connection and engagement. People need people, no matter our age. We're happier when surrounded by friendly neighbors we can talk to, laugh with and depend upon. And with the support of a dedicated and talented staff, we have a caring, close-knit community that feels just like home.
And we’ll respond accordingly. After all, it’s insights from people like you that help us continue to improve the Atria experience for our residents, their families, our staff and those connected to our communities.

I would like to thank Alan and his amazing staff for making my mom’s transition to her new home a resounding success !!!! I, like many children of aging parents was concerned that mom didn't have enough social contact. Fortunately we no longer have to worry about that. She is enjoying all the activities at her new home. Yesterday I stopped by with some writing materials for her and was informed she was upstairs relaxing with her best friend ( who had already been living there ). She told me of their afternoon adventure to a local dog kennel ( or shelter ) to deliver dog biscuts they had made. She was like a little kid again. She was smiling and laughing with her best friend And they are right across the hall from each other . They watch TV at each other's apartments. My brother and sister and I are overwhelmed with gratitude to the staff here in Hopedale for giving my mom a second childhood ( well maybe college dorm life. ) lol.
