Leaders in healthy aging

Atria is at the forefront of research on healthy aging, we've partnered with the world-renowned International Longevity Center (ILC) for an innovative study that explores how a successful transition from home to a senior living community can lead to greater happiness for older adults. The exciting results of this research will help us make the transition from home to senior living as comfortable and stress-free as possible for the residents who call Atria home.

Dr. Robert Butler, renowned gerontologist and former Chief Executive Officer of the New York-based United States branch of the ILC, Butler was highly involved with the Atria-ILC Transition study. Often credited as the founder of the study of aging and the "father of geriatrics," Butler was a colleague, collaborator, teacher and friend who worked tirelessly to improve the lives of older people. We are proud to ensure that his life's work lives on at the Dr. Robert N. Butler Active Aging Center at Atria West 86.

We invite you to discover why Atria is recognized nationally as an innovator and leader in senior living care. We pride ourselves in providing something special to each and every one of the residents who call Atria West 86 home.
