“Spring”: An Atria Resident Poem
Posted on March 31, 2014 by Taylor Rhea
Meet the creative Cynthia P., a resident at Atria Del Sol and talented poet. Read her delightful poem titled, "Spring."
We see the signs of budding flowers and bees
New growth on old and dying trees
The summer went by too cool, too fast,
The fall was way too short to last.
With orange and yellow leaves so bright
It feet like Atria was just another “City of Light.”
Then, the winter came to Southern Cal.,
It echoed all our fears.
Too few days of cloudy, stormy nights,
The rains were only gentle waves of tears.
These amazing sights that greet us now
Will soon and surely bring
Magnificent early signs of love
A sweet, pure, and gentle spring.
