Atria Maplewood Place resident, Barbara D. shares a poem in honor of Patriot Day, the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

Our Song

Written by Barbara D., Atria Maplewood Place resident

Here is the meaning behind our song.

It’s love your country, right or wrong.

Help our servicemen to return

Away from those who refuse to learn.

We show the image of a country,

Touched by the blood and sacrifice.

Given by those who paid the price.

For freedom to make a wise decision,

Putting people in a strong position.

Leading our country in its mission.

To make a better world for us all.
