A Message from Our Executive Director Yunia Gonzalez
Life at our community is tailored to the interests and desires of our residents. Here, seniors can live comfortably while taking advantage of opportunities they may not have had while staying at home alone. We take care of the cooking; we take care of the cleaning; we take care of the driving - that way, our residents can focus on doing what they love and choosing what they want to explore next. Welcome to a lifestyle that's full of possibilities. Welcome home.
And we’ll respond accordingly. After all, it’s insights from people like you that help us continue to improve the Atria experience for our residents, their families, our staff and those connected to our communities.

I wanted to thank you for all of the excellence I see everyday at Atria Vista del Rio. The community is well maintained and in excellent condition with fresh landscaping, painting, carpets etc. The staff is very friendly; they get to know the residents by name and they work very hard. In particular, Joel in Maintenance has been very helpful. I have never felt like we were getting "fleeced" for anything and have never thought that was the focus of the business. Most of all, I continue to be impressed by all of the events and exciting happenings you have for your residents and families. Keep up the great work!

When my mom was in hospice and my dad had dementia they moved to Atria's memory care unit. Atria is not a medical facility so my mom couldn't stay there long, but my dad lived there for over a year. He has since moved to 2 other memory care facilities, which made me realize that the care at Atria was the best he could get. Clarissa, who was in charge of the memory wing, provided personal care for my 70 year old dad, keeping him active, attending to his needs, helping get him a dog (he was a lifetime dog owner and his dog in the community was a great comfort to him)- but she also spent a lot of time helping our family adjust and learn about Alzheimer's disease. The entire staff was very communicative and friendly as well.I also thought the food was pretty good (we had Christmas and Thanksgiving dinners there), the location was extremely convenient for us, and the grounds and rooms were expertly maintained by a crew who kept the residents safe.

Atria has earned 5 stars for being the wonderful place my mother has called home for just over 5 1/2 years. I never hesitated to have my mother move into Atria because my mother-in-law had lived there for two years prior, so we knew it would be the perfect place for my mother to enjoy the last of her golden years... no more cooking... she enjoys wonderful meals prepared by a great culinary staff , lots of friends to enjoy engaging activities with, ( she especially enjoys BINGO , dancing , and the fun happy hours every Friday afternoon, as well as fun varied van outings each week, where residents are driven by Irene ). There are med techs always available to help if needed, her apartment is the right size for her and it gets cleaned once a week ( she NEVER had that at her old house!) the maintenance team are available almost immediately should a need arise... we don\'t think she could ask for more! Oh, and if her dog Lucky could talk, he would probably say he loves all the attention he gets from the nice Atria family community he is also a part of... he is indeed a Lucky dog getting to live at Atria Vista del Rio!

We would like to mention to you the hard-working employee Cynthia Jefferys. She is one of the caregivers here at Atria Vista Del Rio. She always goes that little extra to make the residents feel taken care of. She is kind, warm-hearted, and patient. She not only says that she cares but also shows that she does. You do not see that too often with all the caregivers.

I'd like to highlight a few departments. First the Front Desk: This is the area for first impressions. All staff are friendly, courteous, and always willing to accommodate any visitor, family member or resident. You can count on walking away with a smile because they always make everyone feel important. Second the Activities Staff: They are the most hard working I've ever seen. Beginning with Director, Dale who never stops engaging the residents and their families. Working with Dale are Lisa, Yolanda, and Irene who make sure each participating individual is enjoying the myriad activities which are available. There is never lack for something to do. What a great group! Third the facility and grounds: James, the director, keeps everything working, makes sure everything is clean, and is most accommodating to the needs and even wants of the residents. In short, he keeps the place looking beautiful. Forth the Director: Great choice!
