Our signature Engage Life Program offers a full calendar of daily events designed to keep your mind, body and soul active. Tailored to our residents' unique hobbies and interests, your input will help us decide which events, outings and classes have the most to offer you. You will have the opportunity to continue the pursuits you enjoyed at home or try something completely new.
Our dedicated, long-tenured staff ensures the highest quality at every step; from our Resident Relations Director who acts as a single point of contact to make your transition to our community as quick and convenient as possible, to our Engage Life Director who takes the time to get to know you personally and learn what you like to do, to our talented chefs and professional wait staff.
We are proud of our community and civic participation. In addition to making weekly visits to area parks, beaches and museums, we stay actively involved with the Glen Cove Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club, Meals-on-WheelsSM, North Shore LIJ Hospital, North Shore Historical Museum and other local organizations. We take special pride in our "Good Neighbor" Award from the Glen Cove Business Improvement District.
Research shows that regular brain exercise can substantially reduce the risk of cognitive decline, so we always provide our residents with plenty of opportunities to give their brains a real workout. Our new Cognitive Learning Center features computers with Dakim® Brain Fitness software, a clinically tested program that makes brain fitness fun using music, humor, movie clips, stories and trivia.
Atria has partnered with the world-renowned International Longevity Center (ILC) for an innovative study that explores how a move from home to a senior living community can lead to greater happiness for older adults.
